U.S. Department of State Announces Redesignation of Foreign Terrorist Organizations

The U.S. Department of State has redesignated several Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs), including Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, effective immediately, in accordance with the Secretary of State's authority under Section 119 of the Foreign Operations, Export Control, and Related Programs Appropriations Act of 2019.
