FTC to Amend Labeling Requirements for Alternative Fuels and Alternative Fueled Vehicles

The Federal Trade Commission is proposing changes to the labeling requirements for alternative fueled vehicles, including updating or deleting the Environmental Protection Agency's emission certification standards and adding a reference to EPA's green vehicle guide, due to the impending obsolescence of current emissions standards starting in the 2004 vehicle model year.
