Buprofezin Pesticide Tolerances Established by FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has established tolerances for residues of the pesticide buprofezin in various food products, including almonds, bananas, citrus fruits, and milk, following a request from Aventis (formerly AgrEvo). The tolerances, which are set to expire on July 31, 2005, allow for the safe consumption of these foods after exposure to the pesticide.
