U.S. Introduces New V Nonimmigrant Classification for Lawful Permanent Residents' Spouses and Children

The U.S. government has implemented a new V nonimmigrant classification for spouses and children of lawful permanent residents, allowing them to work and reside in the country while awaiting approval of their immigrant visa petitions, which must have been pending for at least 3 years.
