Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fishery to Close Early Due to Quota Attainment

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has announced that the Atlantic bluefin tuna fishery will close early, effective September 16, 2001, at 11:30 p.m., due to attainment of the annual quota for the Harpoon category, which is expected to be reached by that date.
