ExxonMobil Granted Authorization to Take Polar Bears in Alaska

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a Letter of Authorization to ExxonMobil to take polar bears in the Beaufort Sea and adjacent northern coast of Alaska as part of oil and gas industry exploration activities, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972.
