FRA Board Establishes Proceeding to Address Arbitration Matters

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Board is launching a proceeding to address various matters related to arbitration of disputes, including updating its list of qualified arbitrators and soliciting public comments on whether binding arbitration should be mandated for small rate disputes. The Board aims to provide a record to assist Congress in its consideration of this issue.
