NMFS to Prepare SEISs for Monkfish, Herring, and Salmon FMPs, with Changes to Public Meeting and Comment Period

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is preparing Supplemental Environmental Impact Statements (SEISs) for the Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) components of the Monkfish, Atlantic Herring, and Atlantic Salmon Fishery Management Plans (FMPs). NMFS will hold a public meeting and accept comments to determine management alternatives and identify EFH to conserve and enhance it.
