EPA Withdraws Air Quality Rule for Koppel Steel Corporation in Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is withdrawing a rule that would have established nitrogen oxide (NOx) control technology requirements for Koppel Steel Corporation, a major polluter in the Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley ozone nonattainment area, due to adverse comments received from the environmental group Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture).
