EPA Withdraws Direct Final Rule for Air Quality Implementation Plans in Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is withdrawing its direct final rule to approve nitrogen oxide (NOX) control technology requirements for four major sources in the Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley ozone nonattainment area, following adverse comments from Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture).
