Establishment of Class E Airspace; Fort Meade, MD

This action proposes to establish Class E airspace at Tipton Airport (FME), Fort Meade, MD. The development of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) to serve flights operating into the airport during Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions makes this action necessary. Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to contain aircraft executing an approach. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
