EPA Approves Rhode Island's Operating Permits Program

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its approval of Rhode Island's Operating Permits Program, which aims to regulate major stationary sources and other polluters in the state, following an initial interim approval granted in 1996.
