National Park Service Prepares Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Fort Frederica National Monument

The National Park Service has released a draft Environmental Impact Statement for the General Management Plan of Fort Frederica National Monument, evaluating potential environmental impacts of various visitor use and resource management scenarios, in response to the National Parks and Recreation Act of 1978 and Director's Order Number 2, with a 60-day public comment period ending on November 30, 2001.
