FCC Extends Comment Period for Advanced Wireless Services Below 3 GHz

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has extended the comment period for its proceeding on the use of frequencies below 3 GHz to support the introduction of new advanced mobile and fixed terrestrial wireless services, including 3G and future generations of wireless systems, at the request of the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA).
