Congress to Reauthorize TANF Program, Inviting Public Comment

The U.S. Administration is seeking public input on proposed changes to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, a welfare block grant created by the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, which is set to be reauthorized by Congress next year.
