EPA Proposes Full Approval of California Air Pollution Control District Operating Permit Programs

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed full approval of operating permit programs submitted by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on behalf of 24 California Air Pollution Control Districts, which will allow these districts to issue operating permits to major stationary sources and other sources within their jurisdictions.
