Federal Election Commission Requests Comments on Draft Policy Regarding Party Committee Transfers of Nonfederal Funds

Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Federal Election Commission is considering a policy exemption from the 60-day time limit for party committee transfers of nonfederal funds to cover allocable expenses, and is seeking public comments on the proposed policy.
