California Prune Marketing Committee Raises Assessment Rate for Dried Prunes

The Prune Marketing Committee has increased the assessment rate for dried prunes from $2.00 to $2.80 per ton, effective for the 2001-02 crop year and beyond, to cover administrative expenses.
