EPA Approves Illinois' Plan to Reduce Ozone Pollution in Chicago Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Illinois' State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions to meet Clean Air Act requirements for reducing ozone pollution in the Chicago-Gary-Lake County area, with the goal of achieving the ozone standard by November 15, 2007.
