EPA Proposes to Delist Hazardous Waste from Nissan's Automobile Assembly Plant

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to grant Nissan North America, Inc.'s petition to exclude a specific hazardous waste from the list of hazardous wastes under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulation, citing that the waste does not meet the criteria for listing and can be disposed of in a landfill without harming human health and the environment.
