Indiana Department of Environmental Management Approves Revised Opacity Rule

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has approved a revised opacity rule, which includes new provisions for startup and shutdown of operations, averaging periods, and conflicts between monitored and visual opacity readings, to aid enforcement of the rule and ensure air quality compliance.
