DoD Proposes Changes to Streamline Research and Development Contracting Procedures
The US Department of Defense (DoD) is proposing to modify the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to eliminate the need for posting research and development streamlined solicitations on a specific website, instead allowing each contracting activity to use its own procedures for electronic posting. The contracting activities will continue to make available synopses and solicitations through the Governmentwide point of entry (FedBizOpps).
