Northeast Multispecies Fishery; Fishing Capacity Reduction Program

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is implementing a voluntary program to reduce fishing capacity in the Northeast multispecies fishery by permanently removing limited access permits. Permit holders can submit bids to participate, with the goal of achieving the maximum reduction in fishing capacity at the lowest cost.
