Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Hiawatha National Forest Project

The US Forest Service will analyze the environmental impacts of proposed land management activities in the Interior Wetlands project area, which spans 30,600 acres in Hiawatha National Forest, Michigan, to minimize the effects of jack pine budworm defoliation on the aging forest.
