U.S. Eases Export Controls on Syria, Aligning with Sanctions Lifting Order

The Bureau of Industry and Security has relaxed export controls on Syria, aligning with the removal of sanctions on the country as directed by Executive Order 14312, in an effort to make export and reexport procedures more favorable and to expand existing and new license exceptions for Syria.
