FMCSA Amends Tire Regulation to Prohibit Overloading of Manufactured Home Tires

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is updating its tire regulation to reflect the expiration of a provision allowing the overloading of tires used for transporting manufactured homes, and is denying petitions from industry groups to extend or rescind the expiration date.
