Chevron Granted Letter of Authorization for Marine Mammal Surveys in Gulf of America

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to Chevron for conducting geophysical surveys in the Gulf of America (formerly Gulf of Mexico) that may incidentally harm marine mammals, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
