US Fish and Wildlife Service Approves California Sea Lion Removal in Columbia River
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has approved an application to remove California sea lions and Steller sea lions from the Columbia River to protect threatened salmon and steelhead species, as well as lamprey and sturgeon populations.
