Alpharma, Inc. Faces FDA Withdrawal of Approval for Tylosin-Containing Animal Feed

The FDA is withdrawing approval of Alpharma, Inc.'s NADA 111-637, which allows the use of tylosin Type A medicated articles in swine, beef cattle, and chicken feeds, due to overlapping approval from another NADA held by Alpharma, Inc.
