FDA Approves Ivermectin for Oral Use in Horses to Treat Parasites

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the use of ivermectin liquid in horses for treating internal and cutaneous parasites, following approval of an abbreviated application by pharmaceutical company First Priority, Inc.
