EPA Extends Deadline for Comments on Exclusive Patent License for Vehicle Emissions System

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is extending the deadline for comments on its intent to grant an exclusive, royalty-bearing patent license to Horiba Instruments, Incorporated, for a real-time on-road vehicle exhaust gas modular flowmeter and emissions reporting system. The license, which was first announced in March 1999, will be negotiated in accordance with U.S. patent law.
