IRS Withdraws Proposed Regulations on Partnerships and Branches, Proposes Revised Rules

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has withdrawn proposed regulations for partnerships and branches, and now proposes revised rules for treating income earned by controlled foreign corporations through partnerships. A public hearing is scheduled to discuss the proposed regulations.
