PBGC Proposes New Routine Uses of Records for Plan Participant and Beneficiary Data

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation is proposing two new routine uses of records for a system of records maintained under the Privacy Act of 1974, allowing for the disclosure of certain benefit information to spouses, former spouses, or dependents of plan participants to obtain qualified domestic relations orders or to explain benefit determinations for alternate payees.
