FEMA Proposes Changes to Flood Insurance Program Procedures

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is proposing amendments to its procedures for issuing Letters of Map Revision Based on Fill (LOMR-F) to update the criteria for issuing these documents, which determine whether properties can be removed from the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) by raising ground elevations using engineered earthen fill.
