NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fishing Schedule to Maximize General Category Subquota

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has revised the Atlantic bluefin tuna fishing schedule to allow for more efficient use of the General category subquota during the October-December fishing period, by waiving certain restricted fishing days and increasing the daily retention limit to one large, medium, or giant bluefin tuna on previously designated days in 2000.
