NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Subquota for October-December

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has adjusted the subquota for the General category Atlantic bluefin tuna fishery for the October-December period, transferring 25 metric tons from the Reserve, 15 metric tons from the Longline North subcategory quota, and 60 metric tons from the Angling category, to allow for maximum utilization of the U.S. landings quota while maintaining a fair distribution of fishing opportunities.
