EPA Approves Wisconsin State Implementation Plan to Reduce Sulfur Dioxide Emissions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a request from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to redesignate a portion of the City of Rhinelander from a primary sulfur dioxide nonattainment area to attainment, a move aimed at reducing air pollution in the region.
