U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for Somalia Nationals

The U.S. government has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Somalia nationals, allowing them to re-register for the program and extend their employment authorization until September 17, 2000, or the initial registration period, whichever is earlier.
