Saab Model SAAB 340B Series Airplanes to Comply with New Airworthiness Directive

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring Saab Model SAAB 340B series airplanes to undergo a one-time inspection to detect potential issues with the flight idle stop override mechanism, and to take corrective action if necessary, in order to prevent increased braking distances during landings.
