Surface Transportation Board Reverses Fee Waiver Policy for State and Local Government Entities

The Surface Transportation Board has announced that it will no longer waive filing fees for state and local government entities, except when they file on behalf of the general public, and only for those entities that are not owners or proposed owners of carriers or shippers, quasi-governmental corporations, or government-subsidized transportation companies.
