Director of Defense Procurement Adopts Final Rule to Convert Defense Programs to NAICS

The Director of Defense Procurement has finalized an interim rule to replace the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system with the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for defense programs, as mandated by the Small Business Administration's final rule from May 15, 2000.
