Lassen National Forest: US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Fuelbreak Construction and Resource Management Activities

The US Forest Service plans to create an environmental impact statement to assess the environmental effects of implementing fuelbreak construction, tree harvesting, and riparian restoration projects on the Lassen National Forest. This is part of a 5-year pilot project to test resource management activities on the Lassen and Plumas National Forests.
