EPA Approves Virginia Permits to Reduce NOX Emissions in Washington, D.C. Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved two State Implementation Plan revisions submitted by the Commonwealth of Virginia, which will reduce nitrogen oxides (NOX) emissions from three power plants in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. ozone nonattainment area.
