EPA Comments on Environmental Impact Statements and Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reviewed and commented on several environmental impact statements and regulations, including a proposed coal mine in Utah and a national historical park in Massachusetts. The EPA has expressed concerns over sediment production and water quality impacts, but generally has no objections to the projects.
