HUD Finalizes Rule to Deconcentrate Poverty and Promote Integration in Public Housing

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a final rule to amend its Public Housing Agency Plan regulations, requiring public housing agencies to deconcentrate poverty and affirmatively further fair housing in their admission policies, in line with the 'One America' initiative.
