Policy on Alternative Dispute Resolution

This document publishes the final policy of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the use of alternative dispute resolution ("ADR"). A draft of this policy was published in the Federal Register (65 FR 59837) on October 6, 2000, for public comment. The public comment period closed on December 5, 2000, and no comments were received. Therefore, EPA is republishing this policy as a final policy. Nothing in this document creates any right or benefit by a party against the United States.
