Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks List

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to add the NAC UMS Universal Storage System (NAC-UMS) to the list of approved spent fuel storage casks, enabling power reactor operators to store spent fuel in the NAC-UMS system under a general license, following a recent proposal by the NRC.
