Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Revised Spent Fuel Storage Cask System
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has amended its regulations to include the Pacific Sierra Nuclear Associates VSC-24 cask system, allowing power reactor operators to store spent fuel in the system under a general license, following the addition of Amendment No. 2 to the Certificate of Compliance.
