WTO Consultations Regarding The Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is providing notice that Australia, Brazil, the European Communities, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Thailand have requested consultations with the US regarding the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000, citing concerns that it is inconsistent with US obligations under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994, the Antidumping Agreement, and the Subsidies and Countervailing Duties Agreement. The consultations must be completed within 30 days from the date of the request.
