OSHA Confirms Effective Date of Cotton Dust Standard Amendment

On December 7, 2000, OSHA confirmed the effective date of its amendment to the Cotton Dust Standard, which added batch-washed cotton to the partially exempt types, following a recommendation from the Task Force for Byssinosis Prevention and without receiving negative comments within the 60-day period.
